All our physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). This means they have undergone a rigorous 3 year training to achieve initial qualification and are bound by a code of professional conduct. They must also undergo continuing, professional training to ensure they are fully up to date with all the latest techniques.

Lucy qualified from St Mary’s Hospital, London in 1994. Having worked in NHS hospitals, both a large London teaching hospital, and a local district general, she then went on to complete a Masters Degree in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Kate qualified from Coventry University in 1999. After working in the NHS for 3 years, she specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports injuries treating many elite runners, triathletes, eventers and dressage riders and providing physiotherapy cover to the local rugby team.

Amy completed her first degree in Anatomical Science graduating from Bristol University in 2002. Following on from this she went to Kings College London and completed her MSc in Physiotherapy qualifying in 2004. Amy worked in the NHS in London specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy before moving back to Gloucestershire and has been at Stow Physiotherapy since April 2016.

Laura qualified from University of East London in 2000 and returned home to Gloucestershire to work in the NHS where she gained experience in a variety of areas of Physiotherapy and then specialised in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

Becky qualified from King’s College London in 2019 and has since worked in Gloucestershire in a variety of settings in and out of the NHS. She began her career as a Physiotherapist at National Star College in Cheltenham, working with people with complex disabilities. Becky also has her Level 1 Matwork Pilates qualification and enjoys incorporating elements of this into her treatment and practice.

Hazel qualified from University of East Anglia in 2008 and started her career in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy in the NHS before moving into the private sector. With a keen interest in sports, she went on to work with various elite athletes in the Water ski community and enjoyed being part of the medical team at the London 2012 Olympic Beach Volleyball Tournament

Kathryn began her Massage and Pilates career in 2011 following a knee injury. Firstly, qualifying as a Body Massage Therapist, then developing further certification as an Equine Sports Massage Therapist and then Human Sports and Remedial Massage, Pregnancy Massage and Kinesio Taping. Kathryn is also a certified APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) Pilates Instructor. She teaches Pilates Matwork from beginners to advanced as well
as Ante and Post Natal. Kathryn has been working alongside Stow
Physiotherapists since July 2015.
