Kate Krzywiec MSc, BSc Hons, MCSP

Kate Krzywiec MSc, BSc Hons, MCSP

Kate qualified from Coventry University in 1999.  After working in the NHS for 3 years, she specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports injuries treating many elite runners, triathletes, eventers and dressage riders and providing physiotherapy cover to the local rugby team. Kate completed a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy from Cardiff University in May 2011 and was awarded silver accreditation from The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine (ACPSEM) in January 2014. She is registered with The AACP and is qualified to practise acupuncture for pain relief.  Kate has recently gained an Advanced Clinical Diploma in Integrated Myofascial Therapy and is now able to offer treatments in Myofascial Release.

Lucy Walmsley MSc MCSP

Lucy Walmsley MSc MCSP

Lucy qualified from St Mary’s Hospital, London in 1994. Having worked in NHS hospitals, both a large London teaching hospital, and a local district general, she then went on to complete a Masters Degree in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Lucy worked for some time in professional sports settings including Gloucester Rugby Club and with UK Athletics. As well as being expert in the management of sports injuries, Lucy has also specialised in the management of spinal and pelvic problems, including those associated with pregnancy. She lectures nationally to fellow health professionals on the subject of pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain, and sees patients from throughout the UK and abroad with this condition.

Claire Harrison Sports & Remedial Massage Level 4

Claire is a qualified Level 4 Sports and Remedial  Therapist and offers, deep tissue, remedial massage and sports massage from the clinic. Claire works with individuals from all sporting backgrounds and also individulas who do not class themselves as sporty but active or wanting to get active!!

Claire's personal passion is running and she  is  a UKA running Coach, a youth athletics coach and indoor cycling instructor.. Her  favourite distance is the marathon.     

In May 2017 Claire completed the Brathay 10 Marathons in 10 Days challenge.

Amy Hayman-Joyce BSc MCSP

Amy Hayman-Joyce BSc MCSP

Amy completed her first degree in Anatomical Science graduating from Bristol University in 2002. Following on from this she went to Kings College London and completed her MSc in Physiotherapy qualifying in 2004.
 Amy worked in the NHS in London specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy before moving back to Gloucestershire and has been at Stow Physiotherapy since April 2016.

 

Her interests include Acupuncture, Pilates and rehabilitation. Amy also teaches equipment Pilates 1:1 sessions
Two small children and an energetic border terrier keep Amy busy outside of work. She is also a keen horsewoman and enjoys keeping fit and skiing.

Vivien Baxter BPhty PGD (Manip) MCSP

Vivien qualified from Otago University, New Zealand in 1995 and completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Manipulative Therapy in 1999 receiving the Ian Searle Sheild Award for the highest achievement in Masters of Health Science. Vivien worked in Auckland Hospital, New Zealand and after arriving in the UK worked in private practice in Harley Street and the City of London.

Kathryn Kent BSc Hons

 

Kathryn began her Massage and Pilates career in 2011 following a knee injury. Firstly, qualifying as a Body Massage Therapist, then developing further certification as an Equine Sports Massage Therapist and then Human Sports and Remedial Massage, Pregnancy Massage and Kinesio Taping. Kathryn is also a certified APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) Pilates Instructor. Teaching Pilates Matwork from beginners to advanced as well as Ante and Post Natal. Kathryn has been working alongside Stow Physiotherapists since July 2015.

Hannah Gray BSc

Hannah Gray qualified with a first class Hons. degree in 2004 and quickly specialised in the field of Women's Health Physiotherapy. She has gained nine years experience within the NHS working in three of the countries leading hospitals, Saint Mary's Women's Hospital in Manchester, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London and Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital, also in London.
